Our Guarantee

12 Steps to Guarantee Your Satisfaction

1 - Initial Enquiry
Upon your initial enquiry with us, you will be asked some brief details about your kitchen.  We arrange a time, either for us to visit your home and take some measurements and discuss your requirements for your new kitchen, or if this is inconvenient for you and you already have some plans, you can forward them to us so we can design and quote your kitchen for you.

2 - Site Measure
Prior to the manufacture of your kitchen, the actual dimensions of the kitchen area must be checked by our Works Manager.  This site measure may take place at the time of initial consultation or in the situation where you have submitted to us plans & specifications, this site measure must take place as all quotations are subject to a site measure.

3 - Initial consultation
During your initial consultation our kitchen consultant / works manager will discuss with you your special needs, objectives, budgets & design preferences including colours, styles, and layouts for your new kitchen.

At this time you should notify your consultant if you would like alternative pricing on your kitchen designs.  Also if any of the appliances or finishes for the kitchen are already known, please let your consultant know the colours / model / brand etc if available.

4 - Kitchen Design
Our design office is completely computerised, employing the latest technology of CAD systems and after your initial consultation, one of our kitchen designers will design your new kitchen with our computer aided design program.  Our designer will use their expertise to create a beautiful, functional kitchen that incorporates all of your individual requirements.

5 - Your inspection of your design
We invite you to make an appointment to come and view your kitchen design on the computer.  Whilst viewing your new kitchen in 3D, you may realise that some part of the kitchen would be best served if it were perhaps positioned in a different location, or if the size was altered slightly.

Please feel free to make the most of this service as this is generally the only way that you can be absolutely assured that the kitchen will be just as you imagined.

6 - Kitchen Quotation
Once the design has been agreed upon, a formal quotation for your new kitchen will be given to you.   We go through the drawings with you step by step just to ensure you understand them.
We endeavour to be as clear and specific as possible with our presentation to you so as to provide you with a firm, accurate and informative quotation free of any conflict and ambiguity.

Whilst you will note it is our policy to offer "Fixed Costs wherever possible, in some cases we may incorporate a Provisional Allowance or Prime Cost item in your quotation.  The prime cost may relate to tile selection, sink, tap, rangehood & other selections upon which you may select a style slightly dearer or cheaper than that which has been allowed.

Our quotations are valid for 120 days provided you lodge your acceptance deposit fee with Kitchen Gallery within 30 days.

Your quotation price will not vary, provided a contract for the work has been signed during the currency period of the quotation.

7 - Colour & Appliance Selections
Prior to commencement of the Preparation & setout of your new Kitchen, it is imperative that all colour and appliance selections have been made so as to ensure a trouble free construction & planning process.

8 - Signing of the Contract
After your approval of the design and quotation of the kitchen, and after you are satisfied that you are ready to sign a contract for the work in question, we will prepare a contract  for you which will show inclusions and exclusions, together with working drawings of your new kitchen.

At the time of the signing of the contract, or shortly afterwards,  you will need to supply a deposit as set out in the contract agreement.

9 - Preparation & setout of your Kitchen
Shortly after the signing of the contract (& supply of appliance details) Kitchen Gallery will proceed to setout cutting lists, and order lists for all materials and accessories within your kitchen.

10 - Manufacture of your Kitchen
Depending upon the style of your new kitchen, and according to the delivery time advised, as soon as possible after availability of all materials, Kitchen Gallery’s skilled craftsmen will carefully construct your new kitchen complete in the workshop.  Your kitchen will be given the responsibility of one tradesman from start to installation (it is “his baby”) to nurse your kitchen through to completion.

11 - Your inspection of your kitchen within our workshop
Prior to delivery of the kitchen (or at any time in the process), if you wish  you are invited into the workshop to inspect your new kitchen which can be assembled by prior notice.

We re happy to do this because we acknowledge that even with the most careful consultation with you, in occasional circumstances there may be a minor item which you did not anticipate, therefore should this be the case it is a lot easier for all concerned to effect these changes in the workshop.  Otherwise if after the kitchen had been installed and it is discovered that there are any problems it would be inconvenient for all concerned. to remove part of the kitchen whilst rectifying these problems.

Upon your satisfaction of the kitchen within our workshop, you will be required to make payment of the second progress payment.

12 - Installation of your Kitchen
Installation of your kitchen will be scheduled to co-ordinate with yourselves and subcontractors e.g. plumber and electrician.

Typically the installation of a kitchen will take 1 full day and at the end of the day your kitchen would be functional (however most people use this as a good excuse to dine out) and if not completed in one day, generally we would return the following morning to do all of the final touch ups.

On the morning of the installation, our licensed installer will arrive between 8 & 9am and will generally work through until it is finished if it can be done in one day, or till 4 or 5 pm if it will need a few more hours to complete it.

To enable our installer to concentrate fully on presenting to you a first class job, we ask that during the installation, you give the installer the ability to quietly go about his work, as we can assure you that you will be presented with a beautiful kitchen when he has completed the job.

Shortly before our installer has completed the work, our Works Manager or installer will submit to you a final account which should be paid by cash or bank cheque (or personal cheque by prior arrangement).

If at any time during the process you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask the kitchen installer or if he is unable to help, please phone our office.

Prior to leaving your home, our installer will show you how to maintain your kitchen and in particular how to adjust the doors as over the years they may drop a little and require an adjustment to keep them perfectly in alignment.  This is why we chose the hinges we use, as they are a simple one screw adjustment.

As you can see we're serious about your complete satisfaction.
